Viime viikolla tein vähän kattavamman postauksen Seychelleistä ja Mahén saaresta. Me vietimme sielä suurimman osan lomasta, mutta ehdimme myös yöpyä La Diguen saarella. Se on noin tunnin venematkan päässä Mahélta. La Digue on pieni saari, jossa polkupyörät on suuressa suosiossa. Siellä on pelkästään muutamia autoja lähinnä kuljettamaan ihmisiä satamasta hotelleihin, mutta muuten kaikki liikkuminen tapahtuu kävellen tai pyöräillen.
Last week I published a post about Seychelles and the main island Mahé. We spent most of our vacation there, but we managed to take a boat to La Digue island and stay there for three nights. The island is located one hour boat ride from Mahé and is very close to Praslin, which is another beautiful island. La Digue is very small and the best way to move around is by foot or by bicycle.
La Digue saari sijaitsee Praslinin lähellä, joka on n. kolme kertaa La Diguen kokoinen. Siellä ei ehditty käydä ollenkaan tämän reissun aikana, mutta saari on kuulemma myös näkemisen arvoinen. Ensi kerralla siis sinne! La Digue oli meille ihan täydellinen, sillä vietettiin päivät kierrelleen saarta pyörillä ja siellä riitti kahdelle päivälle hyvin nähtävää vaikka pienestä saaresta onkin kyse. Saarelta löytyy ihan mielettömiä rantoja ja keskiosa on tiheän metsän peitossa. Siellä on tosi hieno pyöräillä koska liikennettä ei ole juuri ollenkaan, joten voi rauhassa polkea ja ihailla luontoa sekä paikallista menoa.
La Digue is perfect for a few day stay as you can discover almost all of it during that time. One of the greatest thing there are the beaches. They are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! It’s such a perfect place to cycle around, because there is very little traffic and the roads are very pleasant (minus one crazy uphill heh). Bicycle is definitely the best way to discover La Digue!
La Diguen saarelta löytyy myös kuuluisa ranta nimeltä Anse Source d’Argent. Siitä lisää omassa postauksessa koska ranta oli tosissaan ihan huikean kaunis! Olin toki nähnyt kuvia siitä aikaisemmin, mutta silti se yllätti. Ihan mielettömän upea paikka. Pakollinen nähtävyys jos matkustaa Seychelleille! La Digue vei kyllä sydämmeni ja saari on ehdottomasti sellainen joka kannattaa kokea jos Seychelleille suunnittelee matkaa.

One of the famous beaches is called Anse Source d’Argent. If you Google Seychelles, this beach will surely pop up. I knew it was going to be gorgeous, but it was even better than I had imagined. It was actually so beautiful that I’ll dedicate one post to it later on. All in all, La Digue was a favorite of mine and I would love to return there one day!
