[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]Poikaystäväni saapuu tänään Suomeen, joten ajattelin sen kunniaksi kertoa muutaman jutun meistä;[/dropcap]
1. Olemme olleet syksyllä kuusi vuotta yhdessä, mutta tuntuu kuin olisimme tavanneet vasta muutama vuosi sitten. Aika on mennyt ihan tajuttoman nopeasti eteenpäin.
2. Meillä on paljon samoja mielenkiinnonkohteita, mutta omat shoppailuni tykkään hoitaa ilman häntä (oikeastaan ainut henkilö kenen kanssa tykkään käydä ostoksilla on äitini). Poikaystäväni mukaan lähden kyllä mieleläni makutuomariksi! Hänellä on kyllä harvinaisen varma maku ja minun mielipiteeni ei kanna kovin pitkälle jos hän ihastuu johonkin juttuun.
3. Meidän perheillä on paljon yhteistä ja tuntuu, että meidän lapsuus on ollut hyvinkin samanlainen vaikka meidät onkin kasvatettu eri maissa ja eri kulttuureissa.
4. Poikaystäväni sanoo aina, että hän voisi kuvitella asuvansa joku päivä Suomessa, mutta olen aika varma, että koti-ikävä iskisi viimeistään talven keskivaiheilla…
5. Poikaystäväni on ollut ihan valtava tuki Style Plazan alkuvaiheista lähtien ja hän sanoo itsekin, että on oppinut todella paljon mm. koodaamisesta ja valokuvaamisesta blogini ansioista. Sanoisin, että tämä on osittain meidän yhteinen juttu vaikka itse tätä päätyönä vedänkin tällä hetkellä.
6. Leikkasin eilen taas lyhyen polkan ja poikaystäväni ilahtuu varmasti. Minulla oli sama leikkaus kun tapasimme ensimmäisen kerran. Tuo paljon muistoja (toivottavasti hyviä sellaisia, heh) mieleen!
7. Haluisimme paritanssikurssille. Olisimme satavarmasti ne takarivin puujalat, mutta uskon, että ainakin naurulihakset saisivat kyytiä jos ei muuta!
My boyfriend arrives to Helsinki today so I thought I’d tell you you a bit more about us;
1. We have been together for six years this fall. I honestly don’t understand how it’s been that long already (I feel like we just met a few years ago), but I guess time flies when you’re having fun!
2. We share many same interests, but shopping is something I rather do on my own. I love helping him out when he’s shopping (not that he needs my help or even listens to my suggestions all the time heh), but the only person I enjoy shopping with is my mom. Other than that, I rather do it alone (and for this, my boyfriend is forever grateful).
3. Our families have quite a lot in common and I feel like our childhood was very similar even if we were raised in different countries and cultures.
4. My boyfriend always tells me how he could live in Finland one day, but I’m pretty sure that after the first winter, he would be booking a one-way ticket back to France. And so would I. Winter is not our favorite time of the year even though we were both winter babies.
5. He has been my rock with this blog and I feel like it’s our project even if I’m doing it on my own at the moment. However, I know he’s always there to help and for this I’m so grateful.
6. Yesterday I cut my hair short again, which he will loved. When we first met, I had the exact same haircut. Must bring up some (hopefully good heh) memories!
7. We would like to try couples dancing. I’m pretty sure we would be the dummies in the last row, but at least we would have a lot of fun!
