Olen unohtanut täysin julkaista tämän lyhyen videon, jonka kuvasimme elokuussa Helsingissä. Yhteistyökumppanini Andiatan uusi myymälä on sen verran upea, että siitä voi hyvin mainita näin toisenkin kerran! Videosta näkyy hyvin liikkeen tilavuus ja loistava valaistus. Ihastuin etenkin tuohon sovittamaani pörröneuleeseen, mutta se taitaa olla harmikseni jo loppuunmyyty omassa koossani.

Yritämme muuten suunnitella lukijailtaa teille tuonne myymälään, joten pitäkää peukut pystyssä, että saamme aikataulut toimimaan. Olisi nimittäin ihana nähdä teitä kasvotusten ja vaihtaa kuulumisia!

I have completely forgotten to publish this short video, which we shot last month in Helsinki. As you know, I’m in partnership with one of my favorite Finnish brands, Andiata, and their store is so nice that it deserves another mentioning. In the video you can see the actual space and layout better. Needless to say, I absolutely love this new flagship store! And I kind of fell for this black fuzzy cardigan, but I think it’s sold out in my size by now…Should have bought it when I still had the change!

We are trying to organize a little evening for all of you (or anyway for the ones in Helsinki) and it would be so nice to actually meet some of you. Fingers crossed that we can make this happen!

Rakastan kerrospukeutua ja juuri tällä hetkellä kerrospukeutuminen on melkeinpä pakollista, sillä aamut ovat viileitä, mutta päivät vielä lämpimiä. Neuleet ovat varsinainen pelastus, koska ne voi aamulla heittää niskaan, mutta päivän mittaan niistä on helppo kuoriutua. Neuleet ovat myös ihana pari nahkahousujen kanssa, sillä pehmeä pinta ja elävä tekstuuri luo kivan vaikutelman. Loppuviikosta näette yhden lempikomboni, kun olen yhdistänyt nämä pöksyt yhden suosikkineuletakkini kanssa. Siitä kuvia siis pian! Huomenna näette taas miten nahkahousut toimivat vihreän army-takin kanssa.

Olen nykyään alkanut heräämään entistä aikaisemmin ja rakastan sitä fiilistä mikä aamuisin vallitsee. Olen myös huomattavasti tehokkaampi aikaisin, vaikka rakastankin iltaa. Nuorempana virkosin aina iltaa kohden ja aamulla olisin nukkunut vaikka kuinka pitkään, mutta nyt tilanne on toinen. Voi olla, että tämä minun “rakastan aikaisia aamuja”-fiilis on vain hetkellistä, mutta sitä suuremmalla syyllä yritän nyt nauttia tästä täysillä. Voi myös olla, että banaanipannareilla on jotain tekemistä asian kanssa…Olen monena aamuna tehnyt niitä aamiaiseksi, joten voi olla, että pelkästään ne motivoivat minua heräämään aikaisemmin, heh. Oli miten oli, niin täällä nautitaan nykyyään aamun ihanasta hetkestä!

I love layering and right now is the perfect time for that, as the temperatures are all over the place during the day. The mornings are chilly and yet the afternoons can be really warm. Knits are the perfect friend, as they keep you warm, but are easy to leave behind if it gets too hot. I also love combining them with leather pants, as the softness and fuzzy texture works perfectly with leather. End of this week, I’ll show you one of my favorite combo of this “leather pants”-week and it involves a fuzzy cardigan (surprise). And then tomorrow you’ll see my take on combining these pants with an army jacket.

You know I’ve never been a morning person, but I’m slowly turning into one. Recently I’ve been waking up early and I’ve really enjoyed being awake before the city is in full spin. I also think I’m way more productive in the morning, even though I love evenings as well. I think this “I love mornings”-thing is just a phase, but I’m going to enjoy it as long as it lasts! I also think banana pancakes might have something to do with this. I’ve started making them for breakfast and I think my body is craving from them in the morning, which is why I wake up so early, heh. Either way, I’m happy to finally enjoy the mornings!
