Firenzestä tein yhden ostoksen ja se oli nämä Tod’sin mustat lenkkarit. Olen etsinyt siistimpiä city-lenkkareita jo hyvän tovin Adidasteni rinnalle ja Firenzessä vihdoin tärppäsi. Sovittelin paljon eri merkkien kenkiä ennen reissulle lähtö, mutta onneksi odotin, sillä tämä pari oli juuri sitä mitä etsin; tarpeeksi yksinkertainen ja siisti arkiasujen pariksi.
Löysin kengät Tod’sin myymälästä The Mallista ja tuurilla näitä oli enää yksi pari jäljellä, jolloin sain ne hyvään hintaan. The Mallista voi tehdä löytöjä, mutta hyvää tuuria täytyy olla matkassa. Valikoima voi välillä olla todella hyvä ja toisinaan sieltä ei taas löydä mitään. Suosittelen kyllä ehdottomasti käymään siellä jos Firenzessä lomailee, sillä jo pelkkä matka sinne on elämys. Mikäs siinä istuessa bussin kyydissä kun Toscanan henkeäsalpaavan kaunis maaseutu vilisee silmissä.

In Florence we focused more on the food than shopping, but I did buy something. I found these Tod’s sneakers at their The Mall-boutique and they were exactly what I had been looking for. Super simple and comfortable, yet perfect for city use. I was also very lucky as these ones were the last pair, which meant I got them for a good price. I definitely recommend you to visit The Mall (outlet center near Florence) when in town, because you can find great things there (most of the time at least). And if not, the ride up there alone is totally worth it.
