Tässä muutamia toiveitani syksylle/talvelle, vaikka en ihan rehellisesti sanottuna tarvitsisi kyllä yhtään mitään. Koen kuitenkin, että joku lista on hyvä pitää mielessä, jotta voi keskittyä niihin asioihin mitä on kaipaillut jo pidemmän aikaan sen sijaan, että tekisi heräteostoksia. Parempi satsata siis muutamaan kauan haaveilemaan juttuun monen heräteostoksen sijaan! Etenkin itselleni syysvaatteet ovat suurin heikkouteni, joten tämä lista toivottavasti auttaa pitämään järjen päässä…
Yksi Ranskassa asumisen hyvistä puolista on se, että täällä ei tarvitse kamppailla lumen ja loskan kanssa. Lunta sataa harvoin, eli täällä pärjää onneksi ilman massiivisia talvivarustuksia. Rakastan kevyitä kenkiä ja täällä niitä voi oikeastaan käyttää lähes vuoden ympäri. Toki balleriinat jäävät talveksi kaappiin, mutta loaferit ja tennarit palvelevat yhtä hyvin syksymmälläkin. Tod’sin kiiltonahkaloaferit ovat olleet mielessäni ties kuinka monta vuotta ja nyt löysin ne täältä Orléansista. Ihastus sen kun kasvoi. Farkut, paljaat nilkat ja nämä kiiltonahkaloaferit yhdistettynä kashmir neuleeseen. Kyllä, kiitos!
Muuten listaltani löytyy melko tuttuja asioita, joiden perään olen täällä ennenkin kuolaillut. Mitä teidän syksyn toivelistaltanne löytyy?
Here are some of my wishes for fall/winter. In all honesty, I really don’t need anything, but I think it’s always better to have some kind of picture of the things you might want to keep your eyes open for. I believe it’s better to buy something you’ve actually wanted for a while vs. buying something just on the spur of the moment. This list is especially important for me as this is my favorite time of the year when it comes to fashion. So hopefully it will keep me on track.
One of the good things about living in France (if compared to Finland), is that the winters are mild and it snows rarely. Thus there’s no need for extreme winter gear (thank god). I have been eyeing these Tod’s loafers for probably ten years now and I just found them in a store here in Orléans. My love from them only grew now that they’re so close. And not to mention about how I could wear them almost year around. They would be a great purchase…right? I can already see myself wearing them with cropped jeans and a cashmere knit. Yes, please!
Other than the loafers, the things on my wish list are familiar from previous posts. My list has stayed pretty much the same! What are you planning to get this season? What’s on the top of your wish list?
